History

Williams Coaches prides itself on supplying quality vehicles driven by professional drivers. We feel it is of paramount importance that the safety & welfare of all passengers, including school children, is not compromised on any level. For these reasons our company has joined Simply Safe to help promote safer coach travel.

Fleet
Fleet of 28 coaches, seating capacity from 8 to 70, less than 15 years old with majority of fleet under 5 years of age, fitted with 2 and 3 point safety belts and 6 vehicles with a seating capacity of between 8 and 16 fitted with 2 and 3 point safety belts and wheelchair accessible.

Drivers
Williams Coaches employs 14 full and 14 part time drivers and all are CRB checked and experienced/trained in driving abroad.

Awards
Some drivers have been finalists in UK Coach Driver of the Year Awards on several occasions.

Training
Drivers trained in on-going CPC modules including First Aid, Defensive Driving & RTCs, Drivers’ Hours & Tachographs, Daily Defect Reporting, Customer Care. Drivers also monitored by Company’s in-house driving instructor plus specific drivers have completed SEN courses via local authority.

Maintenance
In house maintenance carried out in purpose built workshop facilities managed by Gwyn Williams. Vehicles safety inspected every 4 /6 weeks.

Insurance/Recovery

Members of
Simply Safe, Confederation of Passenger Transport.

Profits are re-invested into business to maintain safety standards.
